Davidoff Puro D'Oro

Davidoff Puro D’Oro cigar line is a new Dominican Puro tradition featuring the exclusive Davidoff Yamasa™ wrapper. Davidoff introduces new Puro D’Oro cigar after 22 years in development. The creation of this line began in 1986 with small experimental crops planted in the remote region of YAMASA Dominican Republic, by Hendrik “Henke” Kelner. For two decades he meticulously cross bred select hybrid seeds which he planted and harvested year after year until he struck gold with his hybrid Criollo seed in 2008. Driven by a scientist’s patience and an artisan’s passion, Mr. kelner knew the rich, red, clay-like soil of Yamasa would deliver a truly unique flavor experience and enticing aroma that would meet Davidoff’s incomparable standard of excellence. His perseverance not only innovated a new tradition of growing cigar tobacco in this area, it also resulted in the exclusive Davidoff Yamasa™ wrapper used for the new Puro D’Oro Puro Gold Series.

The cigars are dark, slightly rustic, with an oily wrapper. This imparts a subtle dominance and complexity to the medium bodied Puro blend of select Dominican-origin Tobacco. Coffee and Spice notes combine to provide a long, pleasing finish.

The four format line will be available in boxes, packs, and an assortment box containing one each of:
* Magnificos (Robusto)
* Notables (Corona Gorda)
* Deliciosos (Corona)
* Sublimes (Petit Panatela)

These Cigars are crafted with a pigtail cap and an elegantly embossed GOLDEN band at the foot.

I smoked the above 4 cigars and all have a phenomenal delicious taste. Upon lighting there is a little bite and spiciness. The cigar smooths out to a magnificent unforgettable taste you’ll always remember.
