This is the newest release from My Father Cigar Company.  The name pays homage to Cuba, which is often called of the flower of the Antillas.  The Antillas islands consist of Jamaica, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and of course Cuba.

Looking at this cigar is a beautiful box press with a dark seamless wrapper.  It has somewhat of a rough look to it that makes the cigar appear rustic.  It is firm to the touch with no soft spots.  Very few veins are visible and the wrapping is seamless.

This cigar has the traditional Pepin profile.  There is a nice burst of spice right upon lighting and then opens up into woodsy and earthy notes.  The burn was even and smooth with a gorgeous dark gray ash building as it was smoked.  The draw was consistent and even, very little resistance.

It must be said that this cigar is a solid medium which is a slight variation from the more full bodied Pepin’s we are use to.  Nevertheless this a inexpensively priced cigar for the quality of the smoke and I’m sure it will become a great addition to your everyday smokes!!!!
